Com-Effect

We’re hosting another “Com-Effect” event after a tremendous success from our previous one. If you have a sense of curiosity and desire to establish and be a part of a community who share a mutual desire to foster relationships with likeminded individuals and the natural world, then please join this movement with your open mind and heart.

The “Com-Effect” is a space that represents what “com” means: “moving together” or “coming together.” It is the root (prefix) of community, communication, commonality and connectivity.

The “Com-Effect” was born out of curious peoples in therapeutic and wilderness spaces who wanted to understand what happened when diverse groups of people were brought together in natural settings and allowed a chance to free flow connect with one another. Held by and infused with the energy of nature, participants discover a shared sense of intention and heightened understanding of interpersonal connection which facilitate open and authentic dialogues regardless of any differences in race, gender, sexuality, or cultural identities.  The phenomenon of this emergent “Com-Effect” was documented and researched through the same event taking place across the globe, on the same day.

Perhaps you have felt a calling in your life to find a deeper and more honest connection with the people and natural world around you. Joining the Com-Effect group is one opportunity to experience this transformational way of thinking about and engaging with our connections to the world in a more intimate and authentic way.

What to expect:

We will meet at our office as a group, do a bit of debriefing about the background and history of the “Com-Effect” as well as what to expect, and then we’ll cross the street and enter hike briefly into Kennesaw Mountain where we will use a sacred space there to facilitate our group process.

Among building awesome connections to others and nature, you’ll also learn and engage in ecotherapy practices, mindfulness based techniques and intention settings

This group is free to the community and open to anyone 18 or older. Please RSVP below to s
